Veeam Account

Post by FreddyN »

Hi there

Didn't find a better place, hope you're not mad at me :)

I have a customer, who has no longer access to his license-admin account AND E-Mail.
How can we get in touch with Veeam? I cannot open a ticket as our account has not rights to open a case for him and calling support doesn't work either, as we don't have a case number.
Hope somebody can help, as we need to open a case to investigate an issue as soon as possible.

Best regards
Freddy

Hello Freddy

Does the customer still has access to the same mail domain?
An easy way would be creating a mail alias with the old mail address of the license admin and then reset (forgot password option) the password on my.veeam.com. This gives you access to the account again.

If you let me know the customer name in a private message I can check if there is a second account registered for the license. The customer can login as the second account and open a license support case to transfer the license admin role.

Best,
Fabian

The client can open a licensing case. They cover what to do if you have lost access to the License Administrator account
