I have just been tasked with replicating a Linux VM with Oracle to a remote location. We have the replication bit down solid as we run it with others. The part that i am having issue with is getting the DB ready (prefreeze and post thaw) to be replicated. Most of the search results deal with Solaris and other types of Unix, but i have not found much in dealing with RHEL. Does anyone out there have any experience with this?
Thanks,

Re: VEEAM and Oracle on Linux VM
Hi John, regardless of the operating system beneath Oracle, there are 3 different approaches to this. We have the recorded webinar (Running Oracle on VMware) covering all these options, and while it is pretty old by now, the content still fully applies. Hope this helps! Thanks.
