Hi,
Is there a way to stop Veeam using the local disk as temp storage before it writes to your destination?
We have a Server which is installed on local storage, and we have a mapped drive (used as our veeam backup destination) on our FC Filer.
From what I can tell in the job logs the vcbMounter uses C:\blah to do the backups and them streams it to the backup destination.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Regards,
Terry

Re: Veeam Backup on Temp Disk
Hello Terry,
Actually, we do not use that TEMP folder for storing files, we use on-the-fly technology, that transmits all the data directly to your destination target. Please have a look at the corresponding thread about that: Temp Directory Cleanup
Thank you
