The free Veeam Backup & Replication 3.0.1 File Level Restore Plug-in is nice but it requires Backup 3.0 to install.
Is there a no cost version of backup 3.0?
That is not very clear on the download page for the free products.

Hello - no, there is no free version of Veeam Backup. We have just update the web-site, and this plug-in appeared in the free products' section by mistake. We will be fixing it shortly. Also, starting the next Veeam Backup 3.1 release, this plug-in will be included in the main Veeam Backup package, instead of being separate download. Thanks!

No plans to do that, but we will continue enhancing FastSCP towards this direction, making it good enough solution for making occasional backups of test labs, small shops etc.

Yes, you can certainly participate in beta for this product when it is available (I usually post notification on these forums when it happens). But you will need to update your forum registration email to your corporate address, since it is our requirement for all private betas (we rarely do public betas for competitive reasons).

As for free Backup license, if you are our partner, then I know starting from certain level partners do get free NFR licenses. Other than that, there's no way to get free license
