Veeam Backup VSS Problems

Hi all!

we are trying Veeam Backup 4.0 for the first time and found some strange problems regarding Veeam VSS-Support. First I made for each of the 14 Windows 2003 R2 SP2 32-Bit up-to-date VMs a seperate job, all using VSS. That worked fine last night for 11 machines, three machines gave three different errors regarding VSS:

Exchange 2003 SP2 Frontend-Server:

Creating snapshot Cannot initialize information about the guest's system. Target host: [192.168.1.214]. Cannot collect metrics about the guest's operation system. Cannot connect to the remote registry. Win32 error:Der Netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden. Code: 53

Exchange 2003 SP2 Backend-Server

Creating snapshot VSSFreezer: -2147212529 Backup job failed. Discovery phase failed. Cannot add volumes to the snapshot set. Cannot add a volume to the snapshot set. Volume name: [\\?\Volume{0aca3fd6-d09d-11db-802a-806e6f6e6963}\]. Cannot add volume to the set of volumes that should be shadowed. VSS error: VSS_E_UNEXPECTED_PROVIDER_ERROR. Code:0x8004230f

Vcenter-Server (latest 2.5.0)

Creating snapshot VSSFreezer: Failed to freeze guest, wait timeout

ESX-Environment:

Veeam is runnning on a physical backup-server (2003 R2 SP2 32-Bit) that is attached via FC to a mirrored DataCore SANmelody Storage-System. Two ESX 3.5U2-Hosts.

Any ideas to get VSS-Support running at least for the Exchange-Backend-Server?
