Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'guest_os', table 'VeeamBackupReporting.dbo.C.BObjects'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated.
When I look at the XML line that is trying to import, I see several VM's that have been deleted from vCenter over the years. They have blank entries for GuestOsName, GuestOsType, etc. I think that is the problem, but am not sure how to fix it.
Yes, I did at first. I had a problem with McAfee though.
We're not heavy users of BER, so I uninstalled it, deleted the old database, and did a fresh install of BER. Still getting the same error though. The dbo.BObjects table for VBR does show the old VM's with blank values for GuestOSName and GuestOsType. I'm thinking those could be deleted, but will wait until I find out if it is safe to do so. They definitely no longer have backup chains, some have been deleted for several years.
Looks like the issue is confirmed (database-related) and will be addressed in one of the future updates. Currently, I believe support will be able to assist you in editing the database so that it could be correctly collected by Enterprise Manager. Thanks.
Same problem here... could you please provide us this SQL Script ?
