We have a strange behavior with our Veeam Backup & Replication v7 software in combination with some of our Vmware VM’s.
The two systems are running Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS application pools and Message Queuing. All of this is running in a Microsoft Network load balancing(NLB) cluster with IGMP multicast.
During the backup we have noticed several NLB events warnings that the cluster nodes are not responsive anymore.
Possible cause could be the snapshot action of Veeam.
After the backup action the status of NLB is restored but the queuing is not. We need to reset IIS before everything works again.

Re: veeam issue message queuing
Carol, if disconnection occurs during snapshot commit operation, then it is actually expected and can be reproduced by creating and committing snapshot manually.
