Veeam Replica, Microsoft VSS and Linux VM

Hi guys, I'm running Veeam Backup 9 with Update 1 and vSphere 6.0 U1b

Yesterday I've added a Linux VM to a Replication Job, and I've forgot to disable VSS processing for that VM

This morning the Replication Job was successful and also the Linux VM got replicated without warnings. This was an unexpected behavior to me, I' was expecting a replication error for the Linux VM.

Is this a new feature that I've missed in Veeam B&R? He automatically detect Linux VM and skip VSS processing?
