Hi all,
I have been tasked with creating a clone Windows Server 2012 r2 domain controller which can be used in a lab environment to allow us to test other things such as cloned exchange servers etc..
The cloned DC (and other cloned VM's) need to be completely separate from the production network.
I understand that if you want to clone a Server 2012 R2 DC there are certain procedures that I need to go through in order to make it clone-able.
Is this still the case if I want to utilise SureBackup/On-Demand Sandbox in order for my DC to work?
As I have 3 x DC's in my production environment, would it cause problems if I just bring one up into the SureBackup lab environment?
My 3 x production DC's are all Server 2012R2 (1 x physical 2 x Virtual)
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Veeam SureBackup and/or On-Demand Sandbox & Domain Conto
Hi Mike. Yes, this is the perfect use case for On-Demand Sandbox based on a SureBackup job! And since the virtual lab is completely isolated from the production environment, there's nothing to worry about either. Thanks!
