Hello Sebastian,

Do you have any errors in Windows Event log at the same time when your job fails?

Thanks!

hello,

you mean on the machine where veeam is installed? may this error could come from the backup repository server? or what is meant with client error, not enough system ressources? the backupserver has only 4gb ram, may this is the problem?

Yep, kindly, check the Event log of backup server, and see whether there are errors reported there.
the veeam vm is windows server 2008 r2, 8gb ram, the backupserver has only 4gb ram
It’s not that clear how much memory the backup server has. As to general recommendations, it’ typically advised to allocate at least 4gb to backup server. The situation when it also plays the role of proxy server might put additional load on it.

Thanks.
