Virtual Storage Appliance options for repository

Hi All,

I'm looking into using a virtual storage appliance for my Veeam backup repository. I'm considering getting 2, one for the initial backup and another for a second copy. These options look like they work best with Veeam that I can find:

HP StoreOnce VSA
Quantam DXi v4000

Has anyone used either with good results?
How do you handle your second copy? Use the VSA replication or backup copy jobs?

Currently we are backing up directly to Windows servers but am finding the disk cost too high. Our environment is 100% virtual so a physical appliance is not an option.
