Hi All,
I'm having some trouble with the networking part of a vLab I want to setup for a VM that is running in our VMware Cloud environment.
The problem is that in VMware Cloud a production network adapter is created with a unique identifier in the name. This way, the name is longer than 60 characters, and I'm unable to use the adapter in the vLab settings. (Since there the name is limited on max. 60 characters.)
If I can't map the production network adapter to the isolated adapter, my VM, off course, will not get any network in the vLab.
has anybody else run into this problem? and is there a solution or work around?
If this is not the case, does this mean I will not be able to create a vLab for any of the VM's we are running in the Cloud?
I guess I'm doing something wrong, else this would be a big problem, no?
No vLab for any VM that is running in Cloud...
thanks in advance for your response!
best regards,
Steven

Re: vLAB Networking with VMware CLOUD VM's
Steven, please contact technical support directly. As far as I know, they have a private fix that allows to bypass the 60 characters limit. Thanks.
