I was going to try and set this up.
Does anyone have any experience with it?
I have aone iSCSI device connected to my Veeam server for my backups. I have another that is shared storage for my ESX4 servers.
Would I just set up Windows iSCSI initiator to discover the iSCSI that is also connected to my ESX4 servers?
Will it corrupt my vmfs volume when I connect a Windows server to the same device ESX4 uses? It worries me, but I am sure it is out of my ignorance.
Are there any additional steps after configuring the discovery on the Win box?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: VMware vStorage API SAN w/ Failover
You need to disable automount on the Windows before presenting your ESX LUNs to it. Simply type "diskpart" and then "automount disable". You can verify the current setting by simply typing "automount". It should print something like:
After that, just configure Windows to find you ESX iSCSI LUNS and you should be good to go. If it breaks, you get to keep all the pieces, but I've been running this setup for quite a while now with no major issues. If you're very concerned, take a backup first.Automatic mounting of new volumes is disabled.
