Hi, Has anyone got any advice on how to calculate the WAN requirements of Veeam Replication?
I have a customer that is considering using Veeam Backup & Replication but wants to know what kind of link bandwidth will be needed prior to commiting to it.
I appreciate that its hard to predect the compression and de-duplication ratios that a specific set of VM's may achieve but is there any rule of thumb that I can give him?
At the moment All I've got from him is the volume of data on SAN and some SAN I/O stats for a high load period.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Re: WAN Bandwidth Requirement
Hello Scott,
Yes, you're right, there are too many variables, but if you want to estimate WAN link bandwidth requirement, please look through these guidelines:

Re: WAN Bandwidth Requirement
Hi Scott, if your thinking about implementing a DR accelerator, check out HyperIP, its a VM and can be downloaded and configured in about an hour.
