Wastebin folder under VBRCatalog

Can the items in the ...\VBRCatalog\Wastebin folder be deleted? I have 2 servers and both of their wastebin folders are very large. If they can be safely deleted, is there a setting that will purge this automatically? I haven't been able to find anything.

Hi, Bob. In general, Wastebin is a place for storing the indexes that haven’t been published in the main catalog for some reason. The reason (error) is written to the corresponding reason.txt file. And you can delete any files from it without any issues.

However, it might be worth understanding first why this folder is being filled, at all, since, typically, it should stay clean. Our support team will be glad to assist you with this process.
