when synthetic fulls fail due to disk space

Post by mrt »

when synthetic fulls fail due to disk space, it appears that an entirely new synthetic vbk is created when you Retry the failed job. Assuming that is correct, my question is: is it ok to delete the synthetic vbk the job was using when it failed? Thanks

This VBK should be automatically removed on the subsequent job run, however, I believe you can safely remove it manually.
