How to correctly set "Exclude Events" override

Veeam Logoby Nat65795 » Thu Jan 09, 2014 12:15 pm

I want to exclude two events in he rule "Veeam Vmware: Virtual Machine Warning". There is a parameter called "Exclude Events", but I cannot find documentation how to enter multiple events there. What is the separator? "," does not seem to work. Is it ";" or something else?

Kind regards

Hello Natascia,

You should be using "|" as a separator. For more info you can review examples of multiple events in the override itslelf:
Code: Select all

Hope this helps!

Hello Natascia,

Just wanted to add the in the Exclude Events parameter you should put Event IDs, separated by "|". You can check All Events which are monitored by this rule here

Also you can use the Exclude Text overridable parameter and specify text of the event that you want to exclude from the rule (also separated by "|", a "pipe" symbol)
