Hello,
Is it possible to gerenerate a disk deviceWriteLatency report per ESX/ESXi host?
Thanks,
Vincent

Re: Reporting deviceWriteLatency per host
Hi Vincent,
We collect the deviceWrite/Read Latency for each vmhba and show it in the Ops Mgr console - but for Warehouse Reporting, we only publish TOTAL write/read Latency per vmhba.
Device Latency is the latency from vmkernel (hypervisor) to the HBA storage device.
Total Device Latency is the latency from vmkernel through the vmhba and all the way to the back-end storage (e.g. SAN)
So you can report on the Total latency per vmhba right now in the Ops Mgr data warehouse. Using the total latency report, you can dive in to the detailed device-level metrics in the Ops Mgr console.
I can take a feature request to add the Device Latency metrics to reporting for a future update!
Cheers
Alec
