Attempting Freshservice Alert Integration

Post by mikebou »

Hi all,

Freshservice says the only way to integrate alerts from V1 is via email. Tedious at best.

If this is not possible and it's been asked by others, I apologise. A search for a couple of phrases revealed nothing useful.

Have any of you managed to get the alerts out of V1 integrated into your ITIL platform?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hello,
You have two options Mike,
The first one is let Veeam ONE push the notifications you care the most, to your ITIL platform. Which I hope it has a powershell, or API to insert new alerts, example: https://www.veeam.com/blog/one-alarms-n ... slack.html and https://www.linchtips.com/post/veeam-in ... servicenow both of those articles has clear powershell examples you hook to the alarms more important.

The second one is to use Veeam ONE native API, to read from the triggered alarms endpoint, for example. And push to your system, once again hoping they have a way to inject alarms.

Hope it helps

Hi Jorge,

Thank you for that valuable info. I'll dig into both those articles and see what I can use from them. :)
