Get overview of all the restore points of a single VM
Hi,
I get audited regularly by clients. One of the most asked questions is to see if a VM is backed up at a certain date. Until now I have been taking screenshots of either the emails of the backup job.
I set up Veeam ONE last week and wanted to see if I generate a report on this. I have read some topics on the forum but it doesn't lead to anything for me. Most of the time it was meant for an older version of Veeam ONE. I also came across this KB: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/on ... tatus.html
I tried the above KB, but when I want to select the scope it's empty. Am I doing something wrong or does anyone have any other way of getting the Info I want?
Thanks,

Hello,
Give Workload Protection History Report a try. It has very good information for individual workloads.
To run Protected VMs report you need to add VMware vSphere, or HyperV to Veeam ONE.
Give it a try and let us know.

Re: Get overview of all the restore points of a single VM
Hi Jorge,
Thank you for the suggestion.
It's coming closer. And is actually returning data. However, I can only go as deep as a backup job. So I can't report on a specific VM.

Hello,
On Workload Protection History, you can select group by workload, then you will see all points per vm.
Give it a try

Re: Get overview of all the restore points of a single VM
Hi Jorge,
Yes, this is correct. And I can export that file to Excel and filter out everything else. I guess what I was looking for is for Veeam ONE to generate a report for a single VM, so I don't have to filter out other VMs afterward.
I am guessing that is not possible.

Hello Soribaj,
You can always reduce the scope of a selection using Business Views, but you need to this beforehand, meaning before you run the report.
I can not share much news about this yet, but in future releases after what is planned this year, we are planning to let you filter down to VMs, advanced grouping, all done live inside the report.
Best regards
