is it possible to strip some information from email alert?

Post by liorme »

for example, i get this :

Object: XX
Object Type: Virtual Machine
Location: XX
Host: XX
IP: XXX
Guest OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (64-bit)
Guest Host Name: XXX

Business View group: XXX
Status: Error
Previous Status: Ok
Alarm: XXX Disk Space
Time: XXX
Details: Amount of free disk space "C:\" (3.8%) is below a defined threshold (5.0%). Current free disk space is 3.84 GB.
is it possible to strip entire rows like host, ip and so on?

thank you

Hello,
there are a few options configurable, but as far as I understand your request, it does not fully meet your requirements

To quote my colleague from here

Hello,
Some information is object-specific. Like Guest OS for Virtual Machine.
It is not applicable for clusters or datastores.
However if VMs are categorized by the specific parameters and option to include Business View group to the email notification is enabled, you will receive the information.
Thanks
