new to veeam one

Post by jeremyh8 »

I am curious how yall would advise me to configure my server. I have 120 vms and 1 vc server with 10 hosts. I am wondering if i need a dedicated vm for the veeamone installation or if i can throw it on with something else. I want to do what is going to work best! I have not read the documentation yet. :)

Well, it really depends on the specs of the VM and the other apps running on it, but you will never go wrong with a dedicated VM for Veeam ONE. 2 to 4 cpus and 4 to 8 GB of ram for your current environment. The more horsepower the better it will be. Think about growth too.

You really should read the Deployment Guide. You can get it here
