problem with IIS 7

Post by sistemas01 »

Hi,

Today I installed Veeam ONE 6 for first time. Previously I used Monitor 5 + Bussines View + Reporter.
Before to install Veeam ONE I installed Monitor 5 + Bussines View + Reporter (the Os' server is Windows 2008 R2 Ent)

Veem ONE Reporter and Monitor are working fine. But when I run Veeam ONE Bussiness View I got this IIS error:

Code: Select all

Error Code 0x8007007
The solution is here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webtopics/archi ... iis-7.aspx
And the cause is because I have installed WSUS on the same server.

But then I got this error:

Code: Select all

Resumen de error
Error HTTP 403.14 - Forbidden
Módulo	DirectoryListingModule
Notificación	ExecuteRequestHandler
Controlador	StaticFile
Código de error	0x00000000
Dirección URL solicitada	http://server:1340/
Ruta de acceso física	C:\inetpub\wwwroot\BusinessView
Método de inicio de sesión	NTLM
Usuario de inicio de sesión	server\administrador
I don't know how to fix this problem. I will appreciate any help here.

Besides it, I'd like to know if I can delete the databases of the previous installation of Monitor 5 + Bussines View + Reporter.
Is is true that VeeamONE, and its components, is using only the new database I created during the installation process?

Thank you!

Yes, that's true. Veeam ONE v6 does not use databases from previous versions. As to your error, then please contact our technical team and provide all logs for further investigation.

Thanks!

OK, technical support has fixed the problem.

The problems were two:

1. The path to the Business View site on IIS Admin Manager was bad. The right one has to point to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Veeam\Veeam ONE\Veeam ONE Business View\WebSite". Perhaps this is a bug on the Veeam ONE installation software... I'm not sure...
2. The default document of the website "VeeamBussinesView" is "Home.aspx". And this document has to be created (and defined) as default document on the configuration of site "VeeamBussinesView" in IIS admin manager.

Thank you.
