upgrade 9.5 SQL connection problem
I was upgrading Veeam ONE from 9.0 update 1 to 9.5, and encountered a problem that the upgrade wizard could not connect to the SQL server (using the default SQL Express 2012 SP3.)
After some troubleshooting I found that I had disabled SSLv3 and TLS 1.0 on the server.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.0\Server]
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\SSL 3.0\Server]
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
I change the 2 values to: dword:00000001
Rebooted and upgraded without problem, not sure if it needs SSLv3 or TLS 1.0.

Sorry. This was in a test environment, that is deleted now.
I only checked/edited the settings in the production environment, before upgrading. without problems.

Veeam ONE service account requiremens were changed in v9.5:

or the easiest way is to provide sysadmin role on SQL server for ONE service account during upgrade.
