Failed to connect to the backup server: cannot find the required Microsoft Edge View Component installed.
When opening the Veeam Backup & Replication console, Failed to connect to the backup server: cannot find the required Microsoft Edge View Component installed. is displayed during login. The problem can be corrected by repairing Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime in Programs and Features, but it keeps coming back. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a permanent solution?

Re: Failed to connect to the backup server: cannot find the required Microsoft Edge View Component installed.
I am only trying to determine if the problem is unique to our environment at this point. I am fairly certain that this problem is self inflicted. We recently configured our RMM, Ninja, to update WebView2 using winget. I think that process is corrupting WebView2 and forcing the need for a repair. We have disabled the updates for WebView2 in Ninja and we are monitoring the situation.
