Hi,
We use Veeam for clients, and we're very happy about it.
We are considering a new client for Veeam, and I'm wondering about a configuration.
We have 2 hyper-V hosts, one is on site, and the other is behind a Wifi bridge.
We want to install Veeam Backup on site, and backup the VM on the 2 hyper-V hosts.
For the hyper-V behind Wifi, is it possible to plug an USB drive on it, and make Veeam backup directly on this drive (without transmit any big data over wifi) ?
How to implement it ? I'm thinking about Veeam proxy maybe , can it work ?
Regards,
Nicolas

Re: Backup Hyper-V on USB drive connected to the hyper-v hos
Nicolas, yes, you can backup VMs locally in remote site using Veeam B&R instance in your main location. In case of Hyper-V onhost backup, all data processing is performed by the host itself, so you do not need to install any additional proxy components. Thanks.
