Additional Licences for Migrations

I'm migrating a client from Hyper-V to VMWare soon (VMWare FTW!)

Anyway, the project will run for a few months while we get VM's built and moved over, after which the older Hyper-V environment will be disconnected.

I'll need to backup both environments for a short period only during migration.

I know the Hyper-V licences can be re-issued as VMWare but is there any way we can receive a licence with BOTH in during the migration phase?

I did that and she replied back saying that she could only give me a trial licence for VMWare but couldn't merge it with our production Hyper-V licence.

She sorted it, apparently the trial I was sent was for both hyper-v and vmware so its already sorted, thanks
