Hi
Is it possible to let users encrypt Veeam Agent Backup to central Veeam Backup Repository with a personal encryption key?
I would like to give a few employees the option of using an encrypted central backup which only can be restored by the user and not by the IT Department.

Re: Personal encryption of Veeam Agent Backup
Currently only possible if backing up to a shared folder (SMB, NFS), USB device or a Veeam cloud backup repository - but not if the target location is a "regular" Veeam Backup Server.
I don't know the reason behind this, maybe there is a technical limitation? (one, I do not understand though)

Re: Personal encryption of Veeam Agent Backup
Correct. When agent is managed by Veeam B&R or use it’s repository as a target encryption password should be managed centrally by backup admin.
