Any way to customize the test email message that is sent from the agent so I know which machine sent me the test message? I would like to see the FQDN or at least computer name in the subject and/or body of the test message.
Currently it only reads as follows, for any agent I configure:
Subject: Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows
Body: This is test e-mail message sent by Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.
Sent via SMTP server ComputerName.DomainName.com port XXX without SSL.

Re: enhancement request - Veeam Windows Agent 2 or later
I know this is off topic to my original post, but I wanted to make sure that I shared kudos to the entire Veeam team that worked on the backup agent.
I started in IT in the late 90s and used to have to use disk cloning software like Norton Ghost to do backups of computers. I know it is a different type of technology and we have the benefit of advancements over time, but being able to do backups and bare metal restores using the Veeam agent is almost a joy compared to how things were back in the dark ages
Thank you to the team for making an excellent tool that is easy to use, and I am happy to recommend to anyone who will listen. You get 5 stars in my book!
