Veeam version available in the DL part

Post by Christopher Keyaert »

Hi Guys,

I just downloaded hour ago the last version of Veeam available in the dl section, so I installed in my dev enviroment, and when I checked, in the webinterface, I could see :
Enterprise Manager version:
5.6.0.696
Site version:
5.6.0.696

In the release notes, I could see that a version 5.6.0.786 exists. :
The Release Notes document provides last‐minute information about Veeam nworks Management
Pack for VMware 5.6.0-5.6.0.786 for System Center Microsoft Operations Manager including relevant
information on technical support, documentation, online resources and so on.
The current version of the Veeam nworks Management Pack for VMware is available from April 12,
2011.
Could you clarify ?

Thank you
Bests Regards
Christopher

Hello Christopher!

the latest version of the Collector, nworks Enterprise Manager and UI is the 5.6.0.696.
But we had the separate update for the nworks Management pack component which is the 5.6.0.786.
The Release Notes document covers the last status and that's why it contains this build number.

so I want to confirm that you have the latest version.

With best regards,
Irina

Hello Irina,

In my company, we are doing servers validation/qualification based on the software release installed and in this case, you must admit that's a bit confusing. Having the application at a different level of the management pack.

but, Ok, thank you for your quick answer :)
