Re: Variables for pre/post job scripts
I just got into the world of Pre-freeze and Post-thaw scripts and was surprised to find that there are no command-line variables. It seems that I cannot even pass my own hard-coded values. Consider me a +1 for what I think would be a small effort to add command line variable functionality. (Thanks much to tsightler and AndBY for their contributions of the PowerShell code to help work-around this limitation.)

Re: Variables for pre/post job scripts
Am here looking for the same thing. I have it in Orchestrator, but my current use-case I need it in on a job on the VBR server itself.

Re: Variables for pre/post job scripts
Looks like this is still not implemented as built-in solution?

Re: Variables for pre/post job scripts
Any news meanwhile on this?veremin wrote: Mar 25, 2015 9:21 am So, the %JobName variable for pre/post-job scripts and %VMname for pre-freeze/post-thaw VM scripts should be enough, right? As having those variables would allow to catch whatever specific information you want to. Thanks.
