Hi all,
Strange issue happening . We have a replication job that goes to an offsite dr server site every 15mins. The job normally takes 5/6 minutes to run. It gradually takes longer and longer as the weeks goes by, roughly 30 seconds per week. After 3/4 months this is overlapping the 15 minute windows threshold we are required to keep.
The issue resolves when the host server is rebooted that the vm sits on. I have tried rebooting the dr side host but no effect so can pin point this to the host.
This sounds like somesort or log file / caching going on in the background but i cannot locate anything and veeam support cant provide an answer?
Anyone any ideas what to check or take a look at cheers guys.
Runner hyper v , server 2016
average load: Source 79% > Proxy 73% > Network 62% > Target 52%
Rate of transfer steady always @ average 35mb/s
