Hardened Linux Repository in 10 minutes - Python Script

Hi, I created few hardened Linux repositories using this method (Under 10 mins) on a bare minimums Ubuntu install & It's working fine

You can do this the normal way which will take some time. This says experimental Python script to quickly setup an immutable repository but works very well

Any Pros/Cons of this method ?

This did not work for some reason Installable .ISO but I manually installed Ubuntu core, did the patching/harden, Format 2nd drive XFS, set permission etc.. & it worked
(Just like Rick's post https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2SFMixp92g)

Even though this script is 2 years old it works every time https://github.com/tdewin/veeamhubrepo

I'm sure Veeam will update the Installable .ISO & hopefully we will have stable solution so we can deploy immutable harden reposerty in 10 mins

Hi it looks like the IOS was updated in the last 24 hrs so did a fresh download, install all are good. Cheers
