Backup O365 - send a lot of data outside

We are testing Veeam for O365 and started a backup of entire organisation.

I see that a large amount of data is sent out (from proxy to internet), much more to the internet than from:

Is this the expected behavior?

Did you see that amount of data over a large amount of time? Or just within that 4 minutes?
Some data is expected, but I cannot say how much is expected. It may depend on different factors.
