I have been asked the following question by a customer, however I cannot see anything in the Veeam documentation to confirm if it is possible. Is this something you can provide some guidance on?
Is there support to backup a journal mailbox? If so, how is this supported given Microsoft’s lack of support for journaling in Exchange Online?

There are no journal mailboxes in Exchange Online. You can configure journaling to a third party external archiving system or one of your On-Premise journaling mailboxes.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 can protect those On-Premise journaling mailboxes.
