Postgres for VRO?

Post by mikeely »

It has been with great delight that we no longer need the considerable cost and overhead of MSSQL for VBR and Veeam One, but it looks like Recovery Orchestrator still needs that overstuffed blob of sausage per the system requirements at this time. Can someone discuss what plans there are to eliminate this last vestige of MSSQL in the Veeam stack requirements? Thanks!

Hi Mike, yes, our Orchestrator roadmap includes adding the option of a Postgres DB. However we have to factor it in to all the other great plans that we have :) , so I can't yet confirm a specific date or version when we will add it. However it is coming!
