is it possible to merge replication jobs without having to re-replicate the vms?

You cannot „merge“.
As a workaround, please try:
1.) Delete original replica job but keep Replica VM
2.) Add VM from original replica to the new Replica Jon
3.) Use replica mapping to map the VM to the existing Replica VM: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ca-mapping
First replication will take a little bit longer, but it won‘t transfer the entire VM.
