Remove-VBRRestorePoint subtasks

Hi All,

Does anyone know if running Remove-VBRRestorePoint also runs subtasks such as forgetting the restore point , running a repo rescan etc?

Hi bababing888,

As noted on the cmdlet User Guide page, the cmdlet does a proper delete of the restore points from disk, which implies removal from the configuration database (forgetting).

As for repository rescan, it's not part of the removal/deletion process. Use Rescan-VBREntity to initiate rescans of a given infrastructure component.
