Cannot restore _V6 SKU servers

Veeam Support - Case # 07775889

Just a heads up and to see if the community can help verify/identify the issue:

We recently stood up a v6 (NVMe) Windows Server 2022 VM in Azure Commercial. We were able to backup the VM using VBA but were unable to restore.

We have tried various other configurations and are starting to come to the conclusion that v6 servers in Azure running Windows Server 2022 are not compatible with Veeam restores.

One of our tests today was to try a v6 Server with Windows Server 2025. Both the backup and the restore worked.

Our Support Engineer has asked us to try restoring a v6 Server 2022 from a snapshot as he was able to make that work but this wouldn't be a good long term solution.
