Feature Request - Throttling.

Post by Victor9987 »

We have a backup copy job that copies to a cloud storage for long term storage. The backup copy job is set to kick off as soon as the backup job is complete. The problem we are seeing is that the backup copy job is not completing due to the limit of the backup window. Is there a way we can throttle the backup copy job during buisness hours so we can have the system continue to copy to the cloud but limiting the bandwidth so that we can allow the copy to proceed during buisness hours?

Yes, you can configure such arrangement under the Global Network Traffic Rules. This offers a grid control that allows for controlling throttling on an hourly basis depending on the day of the week. Thanks
