Feature Request: Quick Replication

Hello Team

Sometimes we need start replication for only one vm like quick backup. Especially for large virtual servers, customers want not only to back up before maintenance but also to keep replicas ready. This means they can request both backups and replicas of the same machine. Could you add this feature?
