Hello, on one of our customer infrastructure the need to compare two restore point emerged recently, and after studying the powershell kb i didn't found a way to do it.
Background, we have multiple repository, divided in different Azure region to maintain the data in some specific country based on where the mailbox is located. As soon a mailbox is moved for some reason to another region it automatically move from one set of jobs to the other and we have some script to delete the backup done on the old repository.
Now for one specific mailbox that recently moved the customer asked us to compare the data backed up in the two repository before deleting any, to be sure to not loose mail.
As of now i didn't found any method to do that, exporting for each restore point a list of object id to compare them would be perfect, but i didn't even managed to count the object present in a specific repository to compare just that.
Anyone already had this problem or have an idea on how to do that? Of course this would be not necessary once there is a way to migrate data from one repository to the other.

Re: Comparing Mailbox in two restore point.
Hi Cia91,
VB365 doesn't provide any option to compare data between restore points. As a workaround, you can browse the two backups to visually compare the data withing them.
Thanks!

Re: Comparing Mailbox in two restore point.
Thanks for the info, there is no way via powershell to count the object in a restore point or create a list of object id in it?
