VAW backs up USB repository when selecting "Include External UBS Drive"

Hi all,
I recently moved some stuff to an external USB drive on my workstation, so I thought it would be nice to include that drive in the backup as well; the target repository is a different USB drive.
After running the first incremental, but I also tried running a new active full, Veeam Agente selects for backup the very same target repository, thus backing up data twice.
According to help center (and logic), this should not be the case, but it does happen nonetheless.
My target repository is registered as storage device in Veeam Agent.
Any guess why this is happening? It's very annoying...
Running latest VAW (version 6.3.1.1074) on Windows 11 25H2, but had the same issue on 24H2 before upgrading.
