pwsh cmdlet get-vboproxy

Post by mjr.epicfail »

Hi,

The current output of the command lists the status just as online or offline, not out-of-date.
Can we add all the options that are available in the GUI to the powershell output too?

Hi Danny,

Try using (Get-VBOProxy).IsOutdated, or alternatively you can get the current proxy version with (Get-VBOProxy).Version.

Hi Polina,

Yes, its the same with the REST API endpoint https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... y_GetProxy
However the gui also shows in 1 view if the proxy is "healthy", or inactive, or out-of-date.

That being said, while we can check the version via (Get-VBOProxy).Version, there is no way to do this via REST

My suggestion would be to add the extra states in the status property
- Online
- Offline
- Inactive
- Out-of-date

This would bring it more in line with the gui.

Initially, you asked for a change to PowerShell cmdets, but now the change is requested for REST APIs - sorry, but which of the two needs an update? :)
