Hello!
we have 2 VBR severs, one on a primary site and another on a secondary site. Each VBR server can see all catalyst stores from both sites.
I setup immutable Catalyst store on Primary, but secondary site can also see this store. Do I need to set to immutable on this store also in the secondary site for consistency?
So it stands, secondary site VBR does not have the check box set for Immutable, but primary site does, meaning that secondary site VBR does see the backups as Immutable, would this be correct?
If both VBR servers have these stores ticked as Immutable, is that a conflict of interest between the VBR servers as essentially they are not linked sync'ing information for example.
hopefully makes sense.
Thanks all, Mark

Re: Immutable Catalyst Stores
Can you please describe your scenario in a bit more detail? Sharing repositories between different VBR servers is not supported unless you're using different folders, which is not that straightforward in the case of StoreOnce and should be used with caution. Different VBR servers are not aware of each other's backups, and pointing them to exactly the same location can result in metadata corruption.
As for immutability, since it is a repository setting, there shouldn't be any conflicts provided repositories are properly configured (see above), as VBR will tag objects as immutable in the corresponding repository only.
