Hi Danny.
The information box displays the absolute minimum space required to install the product, while the warning dialog refers to the recommended space, which is typically more than the minimum. It’s always a good idea to aim for the recommended amount to ensure everything goes smoothly during the install.
Just tried to install with the 40 GB available, it was still not enough. I had to increase the disk size to complete installing the product.
My conclusion would be that even 39.83GB wasn't enough space to install the product on a new server (No upgrade).
The information display shows 27,45 GB required, If I interpret the reaction of Egor correctly, this should be the absolute minimum. The warning dialog shows the recommended space.
That’s correct, and it does look a bit strange. I’ve discussed this with the team, and it turns out there may be some nuances in how the required space is calculated.
Danny, could you please open a support case and attach the installation logs from the ProgramData\Veeam\Setup folder?
Thanks!
