In the system requirements under software, you write "Veeam Software Appliance ISO deployment to a virtual machine is supported, provided the hypervisor is listed as supported by Veeam."
I am somehow confused: which hypervisor is now supported for a VM installation of the Veeam Software Appliance? As we don't have vSphere, is VSA supported to be installed on Hyper-V and/or Nutanix as a VM ?

Re: Which Hypervisor is supported for VSA?
Hi Renato,
Hyper-V and Nutanix AHV should be supported.
I believe we’re referring to the Hypervisor section in the supported platforms list, but I’ll double-check with the team to confirm.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Which Hypervisor is supported for VSA?
That is correct, Veeam Software Appliance ISO deployment to a virtual machine is supported for ALL hypervisors for which Veeam offers host-based VM backup functionality. Since we have a dedicated lab for each supported hypervisor, it does not take much effort to validate each ISO release on these hypervisors.
