V13: Media Pool icons / locked tapes are hard to distinguish

Post by Georg999 »

Hi everyone,

As already mentioned elsewhere, the new icons in Veeam V13 are not exactly ideal in my opinion.

One specific issue I have noticed is in the Media Pools. The icon for a locked tape and an unlocked tape is not easy to distinguish at a glance with the naked eye. Especially when several tapes are displayed, this makes the overview much less clear.

Would it be possible to highlight the lock symbol in a distinct color, for example red or another clearly visible color? This would make it much easier to immediately identify which tapes are locked and which are not.

Best regards,
Georg

Hello, Georg,

May I ask for some screenshots to illustrate your request?
You can upload it to a image hosting service and share the link. I often use: https://imgbb.com/

Hello, Georg,

Thank you for your feedback, which was acknowledged.
We expect the changes to appear in future versions, but I can't provide any ETA.
