Dear,
Dell signals that in Powerstore OS 4.3 the Veeam-Plugin for Powerstore may stop working after upgrading to Powerstore 4.3
Dell issue ID PSSLDF-47625. We are still running another fork 4.1.0.4 but Dell comes out with ever shorter lifecycles for their
so called "target codes', Basically we are on a 2025 LTS bui!lt and we are forced to upgrade for rather Critical CVE bulletins and be on "DELL Target Code"
Its good to have the latest correctives and stable platform but without any backups your locked out elsewhere.
Q1 ) Does Veeam work on that alongside with DELL or does Veeam pinpoints to DELL for them to come with a cure ?
We still have Veeam 12.3 and are waiting to upgrade but due to Dells issues with pricing (even discussions on price of already ordered equipement) , scheduling , delivering equipment is blocking us for months.
Q2 ) In general will all storage vendor plugins in V12.3 be available 1 to 1 in version 13.x ?

Re: Veeam 12.3 (and beyond)
Hi Stefan, Dell addressed the mentioned issue PSSLDF-47625 in version 4.3.1, which is a patch to PowerStoreOS 4.3.
As to your second question, all currently available plug-ins work with VBR on Windows v13. If you're asking about VSA support (VBR on Linux), then some of the plug-ins are already available, and other vendors are working on delivering Linux support in their plug-ins.
