Storage/NAS (re)scan dialog

Post by jeronimo »

Just some quick nitpicking: Not sure why this is called a "restore task" concerning the cancel button ;)

Hi Jeronimo

Yes, we’re aware of it. You’ll find other wizards where “Cancel restore task” doesn’t make much sense as well. 🙂

Most likely we won’t change anything in the "old" Windows-based console, but we should make sure the "new" Web UI shows the correct text label for "non-restore tasks".

Thanks,

Hi Jeronimo

I discussed it internally. It looks like this will be addressed in the upcoming v13.1 update for all task sessions.
We’ll switch from “Cancel {operation} task” to simply “Cancel task”.

Thanks for the hint. I wasn't aware it was being phased out.
I hope there is feature parity, not like in other products ;)

Our goal is to achieve feature parity as soon as possible. The Windows-based backup console will remain supported in the meantime.
You’ll see many additional features and broader workload support released for our Web UI this year, starting with v13.1 later this summer.
